Definitely very usable in terms of speed, even if not blazingly fast, and the convenience is amazing. Even less hassle than a USB dongle or other such 3G modem. This image by fashion photographer Toni Frissell has always been one of my favorites, even after years of having it archived in my digital collection. Often times it's easy to be wowed by a photo on first glance, but few really stand the test of time and remain remarkable after repeated viewings.

This photo was taken at Weeki Wachee Spring in Florida, and was originally published in Harper's Bazaar in 1947. While 'Weeki Wachee Spring, Florida' is its somewhat official title, it has sometimes been referred to as 'Lady in the Water'.

Frissell was known for taking her models outdoors and placing them in active settings, even in her high fashion work with Vogue and Harper's, which at the time was quite unusual, and perhaps even groundbreaking considering the classical role of women (especially high-class fashionable women) at the time.

Beyond fashion she was known for working with the American Red Cross during WWII and taking many photographs of the war, and also for her portraiture of powerful and famous figures of the post-war era, such as Churchill, Kennedy, and others.
